Beware of "Looking for..." scam
Whether it is Reddit or X, you will see countless posts from people who are frequently looking for something. DM them and they never respond. Check their history, and every day they are searching for something new.
Because they do not want help. They want engagement: likes, upvotes, followers.
You can scroll their feed and figure it out, but if you want to give it a try, qualify instantly.
DM: “What is your budget or deadline?”
No reply in 24 hours: Ghost.
Clear answer: Worth pursuing.
Optional (save others’ time):
If they ghost you, reply:
“Reached out for budget and deadline. No response. Moving on. Good luck!”
And if they have already stated the budget and deadline, keep it simple:
“Can we have a quick call? Let me know your availability, and I will schedule it accordingly.”
