[M4F] Neglected by your husband, you take the plunge with a guy who appreciates that you're attractive and cool

Here are some facts: You're attractive, and not just "for your age" (which is somewhere in the 35-50 range). You stay in shape (thank you, yoga), dress well, do all of the skincare things. You're always being told that you look at least 10 years younger than your actual age. 

Sadly, this doesn't translate into a lot attention from your spouse or boyfriend. Somehow he's more interested in other things: sports, video games, looking at whatever on his phone (possibly porn but probably DraftKings). Dude is oblivious, basically.

When you're out and about at the coffee shop or wherever, you get looks from men. There are comments, even approaches. A bit of lowkey flirting here and there. You're flattered by the attention, but you're not necessarily looking to do anything. You've always been a "good girl," and it would be too risky and complicated to have an affair.

But then you randomly meet a guy at the coffee shop. A normal, attractive, well-spoken man who clearly thinks you're hot. And (bonus points) he's not a weirdo.

Things slowly develop. You contrive some nonsense excuse (business, mutual hobby, etc.) to exchange numbers and keep meeting up.You're into each other. Suddenly you get some long-overdue affirmation and attention. He can "see" you, both physically and emotionally.
