Just a few quick questions. TIA :)

TLDR: Buying an iPhone 17 Pro in Dubai. Mostly seeing Japan eSIM-only models. Want to know if Airtel eSIM works in India, if Japan models still have forced shutter sound, and if Meena Bazaar shops are reliable.

I'll be travelling to Dubai this December and looking to buy an iPhone 17 pro 256GB (Blue) from Bur Dubai / Meena Bazaar at a cheaper price (Please leave recommendations of trusted stores below, thanks!).

Now based on my research, there seems to be a lot of Japan spec iPhones that are selling in the Dubai market (eSim only variants) so most likely that is the cheapest version.

My main questions are:

1. How viable is it to use the eSim only version in India (Airtel is my network). I'm not fully sure if eSim is prevalent in the country.
2. I've heard that the Japan variant has a shutter sound that sometimes does not go away even if you don't use it in Japan, is this true?
3. Are third party stores in Bur Dubai / Meena Bazaar trustable? Has anyone had any experiences with them or bought products from there? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!
