Is it possible to split controls over two controllers?

Hello y'all. I'm having trouble finding info on this, mostly because I don't know how to frame my question. I have a six year old who loves busses and we have been playing Bus Simulator 21. He mainly wants to open the doors, and push certain buttons. I have a few controls so is it possible to have the buttons on both controllers control player 1 input?
