Am I selfish

Hi , I am single and celibate, it’s my choice. I love being close to Jesus and reading my Bible and books, I love playing my worship music when I want. I would find having a partner would distract me from my walk with God. I have been approached for dates but I always decline. To be honest I don’t have much trust in men , I see and hear too many disaster stories, cheating spouses, cheating pastors etc. Do I need a partner when I’m absolutely happy as I am ? My friends say I’m selfish and loosen up, but why should I when I’m happy as I am
