Is there a way to play with 6 people?

I just got the base game (with Medic added) and want to take it to a board game weekend, but we will have 6 players. I’m wondering if any of you have played this above the 5-player max, and, if so, how did you go about it?

Full disclosure: I only have two games played at a player count of 2.

I’ve really enjoyed the game thus far and I’d love to play this with my group during our board game weekend getaway.
