Question about hiring process.

Hi y’all

I interviewed for a P1 position a few weeks back and felt like I killed it. Answered the technical questions, good back and forth with the panel, and several years of relevant experience (including management). The next day I got an email from the recruiter saying that the hiring manager asked that I apply for a P2 position on their team. I did that. I got a rejection email for the P1 (figured that was normal) then an email that I was selected for an interview for the P2. It’s been crickets since then.

I assume this is normal waiting window. However I’m not sure if I should be hopeful or not. Figured getting asked to apply for a position post interview by the HM would be a good thing and it was just a matter of waiting.

I guess I’m asking is it just a matter of waiting or should I be concerned?
