TLDR+ I didn't handle the mirena well at all. Wanting a Coffin nap, angry, mean fat.. Im scared of reliving that, dr wants me to try nextellis to help hormones. For those that didn't do well with IUD, did anything else work for pms, bleeding peri symptoms. (I don't need it for birth control.)

Ohlm the mirena and the mini pills i experienced everything you're not suppose to,.to the max.. (Crazy, fast 70+lb weight gain, depression, mood swings, su!cidal, honestly, I was a mad cow) Took it out, lost the weight in a couple months, mood stabilized, things have been great. Except the two and a half years on The IUD Really messed with my hormones. It could also be my age now, 35. My estrogen is really, really low. Postmenopausal levels. I have all the perimenopause symptoms. I've been waiting a year and a half for a GYN appointment. I finally got it. I explained to her how antidepressants make me depressed, that birth control makes me fat and crazy. That I always experience the worst symptoms with any medication I take. (I'm not a petite girl, 200lbs 10/12, fit, active, physical job--- fine with my size ---But I gain a LOT of weight on BC and I can't do that again)
I wanted to try a little bit of HRT. She said absolutely not. I know what the new data suggests. And she Rxd nextstellis.. I am reading a 50/50 split with people experiencing breakthrough bleeding, depression,.mood swings, small weight gain, and others paying it's changed their life.

Anyone have any insight
