Taxi cleaning cost

Can't post anonymous so just throwing this out there my wife was picking our kids up from nursery and got a city can taxi as she does every the day and my child had a accident (no.1) in the back of the taxi which they made him aware of ( leather seats I think) but my wife was charged £50 on top of the £20 fair as he said it had to be specially cleaned does this seem excessive?
