Should I switch to my higher prescription earlier?

Ive just recently started the ADHD medication Elvanse and I’ve been prescribed the 30mg as my starting dose for a week and it’s been 4 days and I’ve barely had any effect apart from the first day which went away quite quickly. I’ve learned over a while that I have a very high tolerance to most medication and I forgot to mention this to my assessor and now I just feel like I’m wasting my time going on a low dose for a week. Could I switch to my 50mg early? I know I sound very impatient, but I got a feeling that if the 30mg is not doing anything for me that the 50mg won’t have an intense effect either and I might as well stop wasting time.
