Ungrateful bf or am I too much

Hey all, happy Friday. To start this off I want to say I didn’t know exactly how to word the title without coming off as an ass ( which I think I already did ) but just bare with me there

22 F ( me ) and 24 m ( my bf)

We have been together about 4 years and also have a son if that changes anything.

I am the type of girl who loves the nicer things in life, fancy dinners, expensive clothing , trips etc.

Now I would understand if I want jobless and depending on my bf for these wants of mine but I don’t at all.

I always pay myself for all my personal wants, ( dead serious he has never paid for hair , nails , nothing ) Which honestly doesn’t really bother me would it be nice , yes . But it’s not the biggest deal I have my own.

So this weekend I secured us some good seats for a sports game ( we both aren’t really sports fans but like the atmosphere)

When telling him I got these tix he didn’t see very ecstatic but he isn’t the most overzealous guy. So as it’s coming up I’ve been excited talking about it, and he’s shooting me down for every thing like no that restaurants a waste of money that’s a waste of money.

So I said to him look we have a kid we don’t go out allll the time so when we do why not make it worth the wile ?

he says you know we are regular people right ( which I do agree )and how we need to save money ….but I have a good amount more money saved than him hence why idm to pay or buy things for us. But as a woman ( a bit sexist ? Sorry) I like to be treated well and bought things - or atleast act like you wanna spend a little on me. He ended up just rudely hanging up on me and I want to be very mature and also let him know that regardless if it’s a waste or not I never complain if something makes him happy , and it’s not like I’m wasting money left right and centre….

TL:DR my boyfriend thinks I’m always over spending or wanting to do too fancy of things or go fancy places but I work hard 5-6 days a weekend if not more , to have the money I have to spend on what I like , I have money saved . Bills are paid . House is good. I want to enjoy my life, and because he doesn’t have money saved I feel like I’m in trouble asking todo anything that cost more than $140
