I Need More Dragon Battles

Short story short, after watching HOTD s2 (terrible fight choreography but awesome CGI), reading great dragon rider novels with intense dragon battles (My favorite right now is The Bound and The Broken), and seeing new games like Dragontwin coming out, I have this massive itch for reading or watching dragon battles.

I love fantasy novels, shows, games, whatever it may be and most of all I love dragons within these stories. I enjoy all the variations from bonds, species, or possible magic variants.

I’ve always been obsessed with them, and over the past couple years I have loved reading series such as Songs of Chaos by Michael R Miller, The Echoes Saga by Philip Quaintrell, and my favorite The Bound and the Broken by Ryan Cahill. There are plenty more I’ve picked up and enjoyed like The Elmerian Chronicles by Corey Ratliff, The Skystone Chronicles by Raven & Blake Penn, I’m currently reading Dragon Mage (Rivenworld) by ML Spencer, and a few more. (I haven’t finished these couple of series but I have read atleast 2 books in each)

I’m a big GOT universe fan and was psyched when they announced HOTD knowing I’d get to hopefully see some awesome CGI dragons on screen, which I think they looked amazing. So like I mentioned earlier I’ve had this itch for epic dragon battles and my favorite to read have been from The Bound and the Broken, I think other novels do a good job but imo Ryan Cahill kills it with dragon on dragon combat and I haven’t found much or really anything that can match it for me.

What are some of y’alls favorite depictions of dragon battles (mostly dragon vs dragon) in media & novels and why? I’ve probably watched certain dragon scenes from HOTD s2 over 20 times cause I cannot find anything else in movies or shows that scratches the same itch. Same thing with rereading chapters in TBATB.
