From Agreeing to stagnant

So my patience is killing me (M34). Over the years my wife (F32) went from a hard no to a “we will try it one time” after i found a great bull with a lot of experience. I randomly showed my wife him and she said he can message me. They chatted, sexted and we all agreed to do a meet up sometime soon. Everyone involved was excited. But then life got busy. Busy weekends, and not much time to plan it. All the excitement faded, they stopped talking, my wife said just give me time and I’ll message him when I’m ready. it’s been over a month and i haven’t heard her want to plan anything. Now we have time, but there’s been no initiative. I can’t really ask either because she feels pressure easily and wants to explore on her time. My question is, has any first timers experienced this type of set back and has it worked out? I worry that the initial excitement wore off and she just doesn’t care about it much right now and it’s such a last priority since it’s not in her face and the adrenaline wore off.
