Anyone else prefer shorter games, or is it just me?

I'm just curious really!

I always feel like I want to find a game I can get lost and sink hours into like Stardew/ACNH, but in reality whenever I start playing a longer game I just feel a bit... impatient. Maybe I'm just finding the early gameplay of those types of games a bit dull/samey? Like I recently tried Dave The Diver (if you consider that cozy), Tiny Bookshop, Two Point Museum, but they didn't stick for some reason.

On the other hand, when I start a game I know is short I feel waaay more motivated to see it through! Do I just have a short attention span or do other people find the same thing?
