Rewatching season 4 and something is bugging me. They keep claiming they need to "Kill Vecna to clear Eddie's name from the murders." Yet I don't understand how killing Vecna would clear his name in the eyes of the cops and citizens of Hawkins (who know nothing about the Upside Down/Vecna)
