New Rule - #14 "Due Diligence"
Starting today, there is a new rule on the subreddit:
Due Diligence for Beginner Users
Beginner users are expected to perform due diligence in researching issues or questions they may have. 99.9% of questions beginners have are already answered on the subreddit or answered in the User Manual.
This rule also applies to those who just got FL Studio and want someone to private tutor them for free.
We've seen an influx of new users as of late asking redundant questions. We've also seen an increase of new users requesting people to hold their hand and spend lots of time teaching them FL Studio for free.
To be clear, no one here blames beginner users for not knowing. But we will blame them for not doing a 60 seconds Google search to solve their issue. The subreddit is not your personal Google.
If the community has feedback for how this rule should change, I am all ears. At some point I'd like to make a big FAQ document will all the common beginner questions to link to, but I can't spare the time to create such a thing at this time.
