EasyAntiCheat can't install unless game folder on hdd.

Hi, I'm trying out this game, but it's running really poorly on my hdd. The game works when installed on my C: hdd, but it won't on my F:Games ssd. I've tried installing it on my ssd, but then when I open the launcher it says the easyanticheat couldn't install and gives this error:

Failed to install EasyAntiCheat.

I've tried a ton of fixes, I'm just not sure what else to do to make the game playable. Any ideas would be super appreciated. I've tried manually installing easyanticheat from the installer and setup files and like every other way I could find on the internet. Again, it does work on my hdd which is why I'm so confused.
