**Hey-howdy DnD enjoyers! My name is Orange and this is the animated intro that I made for my first ever livestreamed DnD game coming this Sunday (November 16th)!**

I am here to humbly ask that if you are intrigued, please subscribe to our [YouTube Channel](https://www.youtube.com/@TheBasketTTRPG)! To give you a bit more context about the game and its world:

The game is set in a homebrew setting I've been building since 2015 and playing as DnD since 2020. It's a steampunk-fantasy universe named "Avanfall" with a complicated history, terse race-relations and a sinister, capitalist theme that touches all aspects of life there. There are four, key, playable species in the world and a racial hierarchy that rules them and the world is rife with magic items and technology blended together.

"The Tower" is the fifth 'adventure' in the setting I'm running in addition to the main campaign that has been ongoing for 5 years and is in its 4th "Arc". Our presentation for the game has hundreds of fully-animated assets, a bespoke HUD and all sorts of other unique visuals made by myself for the sole purpose of selling the game's aesthetic, story and vibes.

There's a bunch of videos on the channel already, touching on the world's lore and also a little thing to get to know each of the PCs for this particular game which is set to run for about a year or so but kicks off at 6pm GMT this Sunday.

The premise of ***The Tower*** is thus:

*For hundreds of years; the people of the town of Spectacle to the North-East of the* [Heartland Shard](https://www.worldanvil.com/w/avanfall-miserable-orange/map/18c28708-02a6-4172-84c7-8ecc9b6691c6) *have had a duty to fulfill. A duty that has lasted longer than you or anybody you have ever met could ever remember. For to the far, far West of the solitary town. Amidst the rocky cliffsides and sullen earth; far beyond the chilling cold of the mountains and standing tall like an ominous watcher lies The Tower.*

*An odd fortress; a standing rock with no windows and a dark shadows that falls inscrutably across an empty plain as it agelessly passes the ravages of time. Everyone wants to go there for their own reason, some speak of treasure and some speak of power but at its heart is enigma.*

*Duty has spoken that The Tower must always have a 'watch' of at least 5 separate souls to assure the safety of… something. The questions you have, have no answers - all that you know is one, solitary thing. Your time has been called and the duty lies with you. It's time to take the post.*

If all of this sounds like your thing or at the very least, you find yourself curious - it would mean a lot to me and my players if you could give us a watch when we go up! Thanks very much folks!
