Bye Week random thought

DISCLAIMER: this is simply bye week boredom. My mind is constantly on colts and I randomly think of things like this and like to discuss.

I’ll make this short and sweet. I want to know if I’m crazy for this or if anyone might agree. Obviously we have Alec Pierce contract coming up and most of us, if not all of us, would like him to be re signed. Am I crazy if I don’t mind (maybe even prefer) not re signing Pittman after next year and just ride it out with Downs, Pierce and try and develop some other young talent? Especially considering all the money we have to dish out to other talent on the team.
