I'm Torn between RR Or Selfpublishing.

So, I'm under 18 and self publishing on Amazon will be a difficult task. I write in a very tradional writing format. I tried to elvove my writing to fit it into a webnovel sense, but I'm still being told to cut down on descriptions. It's hard because my writing style leans on visuals. I don't write too much visuals, I just set a scene then continously the story normally. I really love setting scenes because starting a story without one feels abrupt.

An example of this from my writing(I'll cut the world building names for copy right reasons):

((city name) was a city home to high towers which clawed at the sky. The edges of their body gleamed under the sun as the clouds swept past their panes.

*Sunlight bathed the grand mall’s center from its glass ceiling. Kids shouted as they weaved through customers.

August walked with his (device name) in the mall, looking for an enchantment brooch for his upcoming exam, the voices of the excessive amount of people drowning his thoughts. He looked left and right, trying to remember where the enchantment shop was. Then he turned to the trailing robot dog and asked it to cast the location.

The (device name) paused and started beeping as it searched. A scroll of information conjured in the air. Too much information for him to read so he scrolled through and stopped at the map. The withering lane made him gasp.

‘Shit! It’s (place name).’ The (place name) were where the old units were. Walk down the snaking steps and lose a foot or get an elevator and listen to the ding ding dings of the stops of 100 people. He had to choose one. But there was one special move up his sleeves!

‘(place name), transform!’ He imagined skates, and the metal dog converted into them, the heels flaming with blue fire. He zoomed past the crowd and flew straight to his destination, skate-hovering.)

I was told that my characters lacked inner monolouge, my writing lacks voice, and my description are poor and useless. Especially the visuals.

Me personally, I prefer to reading visualy immersive writing. I usually read tradional novels, and it's hard for me to get into webnovels. I'm a new reader, and I prefer thriller or fantasy.

I've been told to use this: observation -> hypothesis -> decision-> action -> reassess.

I personally don't like it when webnovels are cluttered with character monolouge, that's why it's hard for me to get immersed into them.

My question is if it's ok to write in my style in rr? Would any of you guys mind? Or am I doomed. If so, how can I keep my style and make it more rr suitable.

Yes, ok it's ironic for me to say I hate reading webnovels, and I wanna publish there, but I love the accessibility and it's also less strict.

Would anyone be kind to help 😢.

Also I wanna kind of become successfully there, tho it seems unrealistic.
