Is there a mod that removes co-op tethering?

This single feature makes the co-op near unplayable. Everytime the host dies it’s just going to teleport me to the highlands where I die to a wolf and lose all my shit when I should just be able to sit there and wait for the host to come back. I don’t know why this feature was even implemented besides it needing to be there for the game to run properly.
