Not sure what to do, in a bad situation.

So this is going to be a long post, and may even be removed by mods for being kind of irrelevant to this sub. But I have been in tech sales for the past 8 years and have worked at some very big well known companies.

I got laid off in June from my last position and since then I have been looking for a new role. Here is the tricky part. On top of the job market being absolute garbage, I am actually not even in the US currently. I am stuck overseas as I wait for my wife's paperwork to finish so she can join me in the US. We have a 15 month old kid together and despite cost of living being lower than the US where I am now, it's not possible for me to sustain me and my family until we relocate back to the US ( within 6 months).

Most of the interviews I have been getting are in person so unfortunately I can't entertain those roles ( one was even with a FAANG company, which devastated me) but the options I have are to separate from my family and go work in the US until they get approved or work remotely overseas discreetly or for a company that allows this.

Now, the point of this post is, does anyone have a tech sales job (not a commission only job) that truly doesn't care where you work or is this borderline impossible due to tax reasons? This situation keeps me up at night, I have gained weight and gone into a deep depression because I truly have no idea what to do. My savings are running out and my options are thin. If anyone has a job, knows a company, or is hiring for a role that fits my needs, please reach out.

I know it's rare, but if anyone is in my position, or was in my position and has some advice on what to do I'd love to hear it.
