Documented testimony/stories from German or other civilians from WW2 who took or suspect they received items stolen from Holocaust victims?

During the Holocaust, the Nazis would seize clothing and other belongings from Jews and other victims. Much of it would be redistributed in various ways, potentially bought by/given to other civilians in Germany. I'd like to try to find any reported cases of German or other civilians after the war who, for example, believe or suspect they received shoes or other clothes that came from Holocaust victims, and where they got the items from. I do figure that it would be very difficult to know if a specific item definitely came from a victim, outside of being taken directly from the camps or such. But I'd like to know if there's documented stories of people even suspecting, for example, if their shoes came from a Holocaust victim.
