AITAH for wanting my wife to post me more often on social media

My wife (22F) and I (30M) have been married for two years and honestly everything has been amazing. I’m really happy with her. I used to use Instagram a lot before we met but then barely touched it for years. Recently I started posting again because we’ve been traveling more, and now my feed is basically 99% pictures of her and maybe the occasional sunset.

I never really checked her instagram because obviously I don’t need to look at her social media to know her but a friend mentioned that he had to search to find pictures of us, so I got curious. He exaggerated for sure, it’s not like I’m completely absent. Our wedding photos are there, i'm in the occasional highlight and obviously she wears her ring. She also told me from the beginning that she wasn’t going to post our kids/family when we have one, which I respect.

I brought it up to her anyway, just asking why she never really posts us. She said she doesn’t feel the need to perform her love publicly and I told her I get that, but sometimes it makes me feel like I’m an afterthought. She explained that she treats her instagram like a moodboard, and I’m not always going to match the vibe she’s going for. Well that caught me off guard because i'm her fucking husband. It stung. I feel like I put a lot into our relationship, most people joke that I’m whipped or do too much for her, but that’s just how I love. And sometimes it’d be nice to feel appreciated in a way that’s visible, even a little.

She said she didn’t mean it the way it came out, but I don’t know how to feel now. I also don’t know why I made it such a big deal, because she almost never cries but I saw her eyes get watery when I said she made me feel like an afterthought. Now I feel guilty and confused at the same time. Am i an asshole for this?
