Commissioning

I got a buddy who refuses to let me make him a journal as a gift and is insisting on paying me for it. How much is reasonable to charge someone, he already is covering the leather (50 bucks). And I just dont want to just say too low (because he’ll think its not nearly enough then he pays way more.) Or too high, (then ill feel like an ass.)

Its gonna be a hard cover, no more than 5 signatures probably 5 pages in each one. So realistically like two days of work because glue and pressing time. Thanks all for the input!
