Why is my Amazon “expedited” order stuck for 2+ days? USPS says they don’t even have it. Seller printed label and then it vanished?

I ordered a pink Nintendo 3DS from an Amazon seller. It’s the only listing for that color in decent condition, so I do NOT want a refund, I really want this exact one.

Seller claimed it would ship fast. Amazon even said they “upgraded it to expedited” after I complained.

Instead:

Amazon shows it “left a facility” on Nov 12

USPS tracking says “awaiting item” (meaning they never received it)

It’s been 48+ hours with no movement

Seller took the money but hasn’t actually handed the package to USPS

The ETA still says Nov 24, which makes no sense for “expedited”

This feels like dropshipping … or the seller printed the label and let it sit.

Has anyone dealt with a seller doing this? How long should I realistically wait? Is there anything I can do to get them to actually hand it to USPS without canceling the order?

I absolutely want this exact pink system, I just want to know what’s going on and why the shipping is so painfully slow.
