Spirit AeroSystems ($SPR) Has a Settlement Deadline Coming Up in About Two Months

I stumbled across an update about the Spirit AeroSystems situation and figured I’d share it here in case it helps someone. Spirit agreed to a 29.2M settlement with $SPR investors, and the deadline to file a claim is coming up in early 2026.

If you remember this one, it goes back to when Boeing stopped deliveries of the 737 MAX after a quality issue came up in 2023. Bloomberg pointed out that Spirit was the supplier behind the faulty fittings, and after that news hit, $SPR dropped over 20 percent. A lot of investors felt the company hadn’t been upfront about quality controls or how long the issues had been around.

The settlement covers people who held the stock between April 2020 and September 2023, and they’re taking claims now.
