Sun Lu High speed filament drying?

I am new to the hobby and have been printing some smaller minis and want to give high speed PLA a try. I currently don't have a dryer though, and was curious if the high speed PLA needs drying or is it just like any other PLA and can just be run without drying?

Also looking to buy the SUN LU AMS dryer. Figured it was a better deal than buying another AMS just for the drying capability. I also took into account that the AMS 2 cannot print while drying.
