I'm surprised they haven't released a new AppleTV model yet?

The last one released way back in 2022 and there have been rumors of a new model for the last 2 years now but people are finally admitting there won't be a new one until 2026. That'll be 4 years since the last one. I kinda wanted to buy a new device but I was waiting for the new model to release. What do you think is taking so long?

On a side note, why did Apple have to change the name of its streaming service? Now it's indistinguishable from the devices. Do you think they're planning to discontinue them altogether?
