Who are in your gaming groups?

I seem to have an issue where most of the people around me who play games aren’t the people I most enjoy spending time with. Usually because they’re not very sociable, or I just don’t feel I really get along with them. That being said I love games and it is my favorite way to spend my time, so I find myself in a constant struggle of if I want to do an activity I enjoy less with people I like more or play games with people I don’t like as much. As such I don’t have a gaming group, I just have a club I sometimes attend. Has anyone else ever been in a situation like this? How did you form your gaming groups?
