Anyone switch meds while pregnant? Seeking reassurance.

I’m feeling anxious and guilty about switching medications while pregnant. I could live with the negative side effects I am experiencing on my current med but I prefer not to. Maternal fetal medicine doesn’t seem to care if I’m on meds... they said they would monitor more. My OB says to wait until second trimester. My psychiatrist said to wait until second trimester too so we scheduled an appointment for then. Has anyone been in this position before?
