Stop seeing break up posts
I myself got into a breakup, it's been over 3 months, I have been like shit. I am better now, still have a long way to go. I felt like my whole world has no meaning now and still there are times that i feel empty, without purpose and alone.
But I want to help you guys. I want you who are experiencing this to grief as I did and I know you are. But I want you to do it for a specific time frame, not for ever. This is a message to myself as well. I know I loved her, I still do. But deep down I know I can move on at some point, I know I was alive and cοuld function before I met here. And I know that there are times were being sad and crying and listening sad songs feels good because I am expressing my feelings. But this has to stop. Because ti gets me nowhere. She is not in the same state as me. I am sad for something that is in the past and will never be in the present. Even if in the future we will be together again things will be different.
Don't prolong your sadness more than needed. Don't stimulate toyr brain with images, memories, anything that you know will trigger a break down. Do other things. Be IN THE PRESENT. And I hope for you as well as me there will come a time where I will not have to go no contact, hide all the triggers. I hope there will be a time where I could possibly meet her and be happy and healthy and not break down, and just be grateful for the past I had and happy for the present I have.
This time jas not come for me yet. I am hiding all the triggers, I try to spend less time crying and be sad. I do things out of my comfort zone. But this time will come. So don't spend your time on these posts and on sadness, spend then on your present.
It's better to be empty and active than empty and stale. I love you guys. We all deserve love. Even the ones who left us. It's ok.
