Transferring games to new SteamOS device

I'm interested in upgrading from Steam Deck LCD to Legion Go S (steamos version). Anyone have any tips or a guide on migrating to a new device in the most painless way possible? For my pirated games, will it be as simple as popping in the microSD to the new device?
