throwaway account because i rlly need advice. i, black (f) have been dating my boyfriend for three years now we got together at the start of college and have been inseparable. Since around late 2024, he took more interest in politics, he has been vaguely conservative throughout our dating but I’ve seen rapid development, at the start of this year he decided to go mainstream and he hit it big, his content is more so criticism of the American government, Israel & AIPAC but lately I’ve noticed a few more dog whistles and a push for America to return to its original roots (whatever the fuck that means) I’ve stalked his twitter and I’ve noticed prominent figures like Nick Fuentes and Candace Owen’s in his following and a few more nationalists., he’s discussed marriage and kids with me and everything but I don’t think I want to bring up biracial children in today’s climate, and he literally told me “nobody would have a problem with our relationship because you’re pretty” I think I’m in a spin off Truman show and this is all a huge nightmare, My friends have told me to walk away but he’s my first love and he treats me very well but I’m consumed with guilt being associated as his partner, im hoping this is all just a tragically ridiculous phase and that soon he’ll grow out of it or am I being too illogical.
