Justin Herbert Will Most Likely be Snubbed for Pro Bowl

It blows my mind that Herbert has only been selected to one pro bowl over his entire career. He has been such an amazing quarterback throughout his career with some horrible protection. This is downright criminal.

Now, the chargers are 7-3, and Herbert has 2,600+ yards passing with a career-high 324 yards rushing with 19 total TDs. He does have 8 picks, but not all of those were his fault. Of the ones that were “his fault,” being pressured as much as he has has definitely played a huge role, as last year he threw only 3 ints with pro-bowl tackles protecting him.

The fact that he has been as successful as he has despite being pressured more than any other QB in the league makes him the damn MVP in my book. But I bet he won’t even make the pro bowl. We see media personalities crap all over the man week after week.

Just imagine if the chargers had at least one of their star tackles and one of their top running backs. There is no doubt in my mind that they’d be the best team in the afc.

Harbaugh has completely turned this organization around. No matter what happens this season, I am so excited for this franchise moving forward. Please, God, help Herbert make it out of this season alive.

Off topic: after the bye, the chargers travel schedule is much more forgiving as far as mileage goes. The only east coast game they play is in Dallas. The downside is that the two west coast away games they play are in Denver and KC. Hopefully the playoff situation is sorted out prior to the Denver game so that Herbert can sit that one out. Their defense has 14 more sacks than the second-best pass rush in the nfl (46 and 32, respectively). Their pass rush demolished the chargers O-line with a healthy Alt….that is scary.
