Raccoon in my ceiling (OH)

Now that the weathers gotten colder, I’ve been hearing scratching up in my ceiling. I’m 100% sure it’s in the veiling not on the roof, it’s is very close and loud, and my roommates hear it too. I have reported this to my apartment complex manager 3 times now, and all those times I’ve just gotten an email about a work order, then email work order completed with absolutely no change, (possible) raccoon still at large. Last night we noticed this gouge in the ceiling, which was not there before, and seems like it is the work of that animal/animals. I’m done. Please help, any advice on how to actually get them to remove these animals appreciated.
