Problem with in uncancelled account

Hi, So my current studio was taken over by new management. The new management is amazing! I have a basic membership with them. Before they took over, I canceled my account.. but I was recently charged with a premium membership but only received four classes. The manager did some digging and found that my cancellation of my elite membership was never actually put onto my account and that OTF corporate has been trying to charge me $99 for the past eight months. This is looming over my head because I didn’t attend any classes and I don’t want to pay $800 and I didn’t know about this before re-signing up.

The new management(she) is saying that I can either:

1. Find my cancellation documents from before they took over (she said that many members had the same problem, but they were able to locate their forms-mine is lost). Or
2. Completely delete my profile from Orangetheory and sign up under a different email address. (but then I am risking OTF Trying to reach out and charge me $99). She did cancel my current basic membership so I don’t get charged again. And she sent an email to corporate.. but she said my best bet is finding that cancellation form.. I don’t wanna cheat the system, but I feel like I have to - maybe fill out a cancellation form and back date it? Has this ever happened to anyone?
