Is Physics II necessary?

I’m in the second year, first semester. Some of the classes I’m taking are Statics, Concrete Technology, Drainage Systems, Calculus III and of course, Physics II. Me and my classmates are having a hard time with Physics II, we struggle to understand it and we don’t see it applied anywhere in our other classes, because it really doesn’t have anything to do with major, at least in my country, here there are no MEP related classes in Civil Engineering. Is all that circuits and electromagnetism knowledge necessary and useful in our field?
