[As in my previous post, I had Auckland FC playing in two different groups at the Club World Cup due to a SI error for making them to participate in OFC Champions League and winning the A-League. ](https://www.reddit.com/r/footballmanagergames/comments/1owlhym/comment/nou0j3d/)

Many of you asked what would happen if they faced each other. Here we go! I gave all players a CA of 200 and hoped for the best.

**Group stage:**

Everything went according to plan, kind of. It would have been much easier if they had finished 1st in one group and 2nd in another, but unfortunately they didn't; they won all their matches except for one on the final day, except for Monaco.

I was confused by the draw, so I tried to figure out why. I guess all the major clubs saw the attributes and started poaching all the players.

**Knockout Stage:**

I tried to increase the club's reputation to avoid that, but I suppose the wage difference was already a factor in them leaving. What now? Auckland might not finish with a full squad.

I decided to destroy the opponents' condition and morale. Everything went according to plan and even better than expected.

**Final:**

Well, this was boring. They simply faced their B team. Sorry, guys, but it's not a fun result. Congratulations, Auckland, on doubling your prize money. Use it wisely to save the remaining players you haven't lost yet.

**And well, how went really on my save?:**

Not bad, even with the lack of rest. They drew against Toluca and won against Inter Miami.

The main thing that influenced my CWC experience was the calendar. The competition ended a week later than scheduled because matches in the Auckland group were much later than the others. This helped me because my final opponent was affected by the lack of rest, which made me win the CWC. Nice.

Part 2: Auckland FC playing in two different groups at the CWC. I forced them to the final, here's the results.
