Anyone else sick of modern fps games?

I feel like every fps game is always battle royal, mil-sim or an extraction shooter. What happened to games like black ops 1-3? Simple multiplayer with different modes, cool singleplayer campaign and no excessive microtransactions and batte pass bs. You can't even play games offline anymore so what happened? Where did we go wrong?
