What kind of engineer should I ask?

One of my hobbies is railfanning (I record videos on my phone and post them onto YouTube. I get like 5 views, but I don't care about views, I just want to share my passion of trains)

I recently bought a tripod approximately 6 feet tall and I don't know about length, width or weight. However, I know it's prone to blowing over in wind. I was thinking of using the hook on the bottom to hold a gallon jug filled either partially or fully with water. But I am not sure if it's practical or not. Furthermore, how much water should I use. Which kind of engineer should I ask about this?
