What is a Democratic Caucus?

Old Hollywood showed us smoke-filled rooms with rich men smoking cigars and one big Boss deciding who should be a candidate and what laws legislators should pass or fail in the legislature. This is now 2025. Read the headlines. It is obvious there is no one person running the Minnesota process for choosing candidates or issues in the DFL/Democratic Party. Nope! It all is driven by us down in the grassroots attending our local district caucus. What is a district? Find out next Monday at the Northfield Library, 5:30 to 6:30. (plus extra time as needed for Q&A). Take an hour to learn a lot. Free!
