(DST) How do you fight bosses in Spring rain?

I decided to fight Bee Queen for the second time and I'm using marble armor, beekeeper hat, and one hambat. However, rain kicks in and the hambat gets wet and slips out of my hands which is pretty terrible. What's the strategy if I can't hold an umbrella? Do I just have to swap to the eyebrella when rain starts and make up the armor difference with a lot more healing foods? I might need more marble armor if that's the case. I don't want to wait for Autumn because I should learn how to adapt.
