Issue with qBittorrent locking up

I have this issue often and think it may be tied to auto update plugin

qBittorrent will lock up, the logs show nothing abnormal, but the webui will be unreachable, a restart of the container fixes the issue

It is running through network type: container through GluetunVPN I think there may be an interaction happening as a result of auto update plug-in updating GluetunVPN, which breaks qBittorrent even though GluetunVPN is back up and running after update

Just replicated the issue by stopping Gluetun manually, and restarting it without touching qBittorent, making the qBittorent webui unreachable, again, a restart of qBittorrent fixes the issue

Has anyone dealt with something similar in the past, is there a known fix?
