Any big guys riding the scout?

So I'm absolutely in love with the scout bobber, but my only problem is I'm 6'3" and 350lbs. I had a chance to ride both the scout and the chief at a recent demo day, and although the scout was surprisingly accommodating of my height, I enjoyed the torque of the chief more, but the looks just don't do it for me (plus I live in Arizona and I'd prefer a water cooled bike)

Additionally, I'm extremely new to motor cycle riding, just got my license a month or 2 ago, and all the riding I've been doing has been on a KLR 650 (another really torque-y bike)

Basically I'm just trying to decide if I really need the extra torque because of my size, or if I just need some time to get used to riding a high rev bike.
