Knitwear - black jumpers vs brown, burgundy, beige and cream

When shopping for knitwear, does anyone look better in colours other than black.

I’m trying to make a list of knitwear items to purchase for Black Friday, but find myself leaning towards brown, burgundy, beige and cream for heavier knitwear that falls within SD guidelines.

I feel black is too harsh and doesn’t look good on me, compared to the other colours mentioned.

The only way I can get away with black knitwear is if it’s super fitted knit, or a wrap style in a draped knit style/material.

I just cant do heavier or thicker knits in black.
