Part time jobs?

I’m looking at a VA job as a nurse practitioner - do they ever open or negotiate PT jobs for clinic roles? my current job is .75 FYE (3 10s) and I’d love to keep hours to 30-32 if that’s an option. but don’t want to waste my time if that isnt something that’s done.
