Peptide lip treatment

Has anyone noticed any inconsistency with the peptide treatment balms? My first one ever was salted caramel from Sephora, absolutely love it and smells so good! Then I went and got strawberry glaze, sadly I could barely smell anything! So I returned it and got classic vanilla, to my surprise I find the vanilla to be gritty! At this point I think I’m just meant to keep re-purchasing salted caramel
