Alarm clock recommendation

I'm looking for an alarm clock recommendation for my boyfriend. (While he has not officially been diagnosed I strongly suspect he has IH.) He recently moved in with me, and I am having to wake him up everyday. It takes me literal hours to get him up. He doesn't respond to sound or light. I have to consistently shake him and yell for an average of 2/3 hours. I'm wondering if anyone who has a similiar issue has had success finding an alarm? I'm going back to work in a couple months and I worry he will not be able to get up for work with me not being there.
