hide away storage spots?

I just got the 2026 Honda Hybrid CRV. I live in the Bay Area and really should not leave anything in the car because we have rampant car break ins. However, sometimes in a pinch I used to hide a few things where the spare tire used to be. The Hybrid has a battery there so there is no hiding spots. Any spaces besides the spare tire pump area? I also dont want the cargo cover because unfortunately thieves will break windows to see if you are hiding things there too.
